Pure Shetland Sheepskin rug tanned natural at the Welsh Organic Tannery.
Celandine was another ewe who, last summer, started to lose condition and the vet said she was just reaching the end of her life.
As usual I took the skin and salted it, and sent it for tanning.
I have celandine's offspring still so she's still with me.
This sheepskin is a deep pile for a Shetland, pure warm white and very tempting for those chilly toes come evening.
