Sunflower.
Sunflower was a sweet Soay ewe that came to live with me from a friend a few years ago.
She had a long standing cough that the vet couldn't treat.
She managed a few years with me and gave me a beautiful ewe lamb, Sigrid, last year.
At the end of last summer she deteriorated fast and so a friend came over to put her to sleep in the field, with minimum stress.
We processed her body and saw the damage to her lungs, she had no healthy lung tissue at all.
This is her sheepskin tanned naturally with the Welsh Organic Tannery.
