Blade shorn wool selection box 120g

Selection boxes for spinners and felters.

You will receive 3 X 40g of blade shorn, washed and carded fleece from my flock and other blade shorn flocks in the south west.

These are high quality fibres from well looked after sheep. Each fibre will come with details of the breed and the ones from my flock will come with the names of the sheep.

Brown

Brown Shetland Ryeland cross from Fernhill Farm. Regeneratively farmed on the Mendips and perfectly suited to the damp conditions, these breeds combine well to produce fantastic fleeces as well as good mothering instincts.

White

White Portland from the HoneyWoods Flock.

My stunning Portland fleeces are a form favourite year on year. Rare breed, a little lustre, bouncy, warm whites with some red tones.

Grey

Grey Lambswool Icelandic Shetland cross from my gorgeous boys called Boy and Ricky

This is carded Lambswool sliver from my two wether lambs born in 2024, Ricky and Boy. 

One was born to a Shetland mum and Icelandic dad, the other the other way around. 

As you can see these primitive sheep often appear dark when they are young but you can tell they will become lighter by the white underlayer and sugar lips.

Suitable for woolen style spinning, these are bouncy and warm!
