Icelandic Cross Shetland Sheepskin Rug

Bring a little of the Somerset countryside into your home with this beautifully soft, naturally tanned sheepskin from my own small flock of rare breed sheep in West Somerset.

Each fleece comes from sheep that are carefully reared with high standards of welfare, grazing the rolling pastures of my small farm. No two sheepskins are ever alike, making every piece a genuine one-of-a-kind.

This striking fleece features a luxurious creamy white wool with rich chestnut-brown markings around the edges, creating a beautifully natural pattern that will complement both modern and traditional interiors. The dense, springy fleece is wonderfully soft underfoot or draped over a chair, bench or bed.

My sheepskins are professionally tanned at the award winning Welsh Organic Tannery, using environmentally conscious, natural tanning methods with great care taken to minimise environmental impact while preserving the beauty and character of each fleece. The result is an undyed leather backing and a long-lasting, beautifully soft finish.
