Shetland Wool Sliver - Black

Beautifully soft sliver (similar to roving but without as much processing) from the blade shorn sheep in the Forest of Dean, saved from the compost pile when my shearer recognised quality fleeces.

This fluffy warm fleece is perfect for hand spinning and felting, unusually soft for a black Shetland in my experience.

Deep jet black with a small amount of vm.
