Shetland Sheepskin Rug

Bring a little of the Somerset countryside into your home with this beautifully soft, naturally tanned sheepskin from my own small flock of rare breed sheep in West Somerset.

Each fleece comes from sheep that are carefully reared with high standards of welfare, grazing the rolling pastures of my small farm. No two sheepskins are ever alike, making every piece a genuine one-of-a-kind.

This pure Shetland tan coloured sheepskin has a shorter fleece length than my other fleeces which makes it suitable for children and babies. It has never been sprayed with chemicals.

My sheepskins are professionally tanned at the award winning Welsh Organic Tannery, using environmentally conscious, natural tanning methods with great care taken to minimise environmental impact while preserving the beauty and character of each fleece. The result is an undyed leather backing and a long-lasting, beautifully soft finish.
